Denso Steelcoat 50 System
Injectable petrolatum compound
A semi-solid specially formulated and blended Petrolatum Compound which is saturated into the pre-stressing strand with a heated bath and die arrangement.
The product exhibits excellent penetrating and wetting characteristics and contains no metallic soaps or volatile components.
Denso Steelcoat 100 System
Universal petrolatum tape system for all structures/ configurations
Comprises an adhesive petrolatum primer (Denso Hi-Tack Primer) an optional petrolatum paste compatible with damp surfaces (SeaShield Primer P) and a very adhesive petrolatum tape (Denso Hi-Tack Tape).
Denso Steelcoat 200 System
For pipework and fittings at elevated temperatures to 110°C
Comprises a plastic backed petrolatum tape (Denso Hotline Tape) and a high temperature mastic for sealing fittings and awkward shapes (Densoseal 16A). No primer is required. An adhesive aluminium tape (Denso Sirex Tape) is an optional outerwrap which provides extra mechanical and/or ultra-violet light protection.
Denso Steelcoat 300 System
Self-coloured cold applied petrolatum based tape. Naturally grey coloured cold applied petrolatum based tape for long term corrosion protection. Designed specifically to be resistant to the spread of surface flame.
Denso Steelcoat 400 System
A self amalgamating laminate that can be top coated.
Comprising deep penetrating primer (Denso Penetrating Primer), an easily applied layer of semi-coated acrylic backed tape (Denso Ultraseal Tape) and a choice of final topcoats (Denso Acrylic or Urethane Topcoat). The final topcoat can be reinforced with a selected reinforcing scrim ( Denso D5 or D10 Scrim) for sections of steelwork or pipework which require additional impact resistance. After priming, Denso Profiling Mastic is first utilised to seal and profile back to back angles, voids, flanges or fittings, before application of Denso Ultraseal Tape and selected topcoat.
Denso Steelcoat 700 System
A truly surface tolerant glass flake epoxy mastic coating
Comprises a two component glass flake reinforced epoxy mastic coating (Denso S.T. Epoxy). A minimum of two coats is easily applied by brush or airless spray. Denso S.T. Filler is utilised to fill any voids, gaps or bad pits. Denso Stripe Coat ensures high build over edges and bolts. When exposed to ultra-violet light a third coat of Urethane based material (Denso Weathershield) is applied for extra protection (prevents chalking). Light colours of Denso S.T. Epoxy are recommended to ensure the epoxy is fully covered with the final Weathershield topcoat.
Denso Steelcoat 1000 System
Polyester glass flake coating that builds to 1000 micron
Comprises a two component reinforced polyester glass flake coating (Denso PGF 1000) that offers outstanding resistance to corrosion and abrasion. The robust coating is applied by either airless spray or brush and can achieve a dry film thickness of 1mm or 1000 microns in one coating operation. Good mechanical resistance of the coatingis achieved within 3 hours at 25°C. For improved service life two coats are applied at 750 microns per coat to increase overall thickness to 1,500 microns average.
Denso Steelcoat 100/400 System
For the protection of structural steel, pipes, welded joints, bends, fittings and similar structures from corrosion, above ground. To protect the substrate from corrosion the system completely encases and segregates its surface from the surrounding environment by making intimate contact with the entire exposed substrate.
Denso Tank Base Seal System
For the corrosion protection of tank bases by the prevention of moisture ingress to the underside of the tank base. Tank bases generally sit on asphalt or concrete slabs; at or near the point of contact with the slab moisture can collect which may initiate the corrosion process.
