Project Details
SA Water have been using Archco 423D™ for a number of years but until recently were unable to repair the large bore valves as the machinery required was not available.
SA Water purchased a boring and facing machine so that this work can be done in house at their Murray Bridge workshop. Photos show the valve in the boring and facing machine as well as a completed face after machining.
The client is extremely happy with this product as it is one of the few available that can be machined and have bearings and seats pressed in afterwards saving SA Water tens of thousands of dollars.
The applicators have been trained by Denso staff who are always willing to supply information and support where necessary.
