COVID-19 Update

POSTED ON 4TH AUGUST, 2020

Denso Australia continues to operate during Victoria’s
six-week Stage 4 lockdown period.

As an ancillary business within the “permitted industries” category outlined by the Victorian government, Denso Australia remains operational with a COVID-safe plan as directed by Victoria’s Chief Health Officer. By carefully following the latest Government advice surrounding the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) we have put strategies in place to ensure continuity of service whilst also considering the health and wellbeing of our staff and the public. As a result, all factory and warehouse staff will continue to work from Campbellfield whilst technical, sales and administration staff will work from home or at the office as required. Denso Australia also continues to adhere COVID-19 countermeasures in the workplace including social distancing, frequent washing of hands and the wearing of face masks.

Product availability and customer support:

  • We remain available to answer your calls, reply to your emails, manufacture your orders, distribute your goods and assist in any way we can.
  • We will continue to maintain a diverse portfolio of products.
  • We will endeavour to maintain close contact with suppliers and trade associations.
  • We have production facilities in key locations worldwide that can be deployed on a contingency basis in the event of localised disruptions.

In accordance with Government guidelines, which are updated daily, the following precautionary measures have been put into place for the safety of both staff and customers:

  • Traveling nationally and internationally for business purposes has been suspended until further notice.
  • All Business Development Managers will be working from home with interstate travel suspended until further notice.
  • Staff who can work remotely in line with standard flexible working arrangements are doing so.
  • Instead of face-to-face meetings, where appropriate, extensive use will be made of conference call platforms.
  • Only essential Staff are working in our offices and factories and we are reinforcing the need to wear masks and sterilize hands regularly following the Government guidelines about coughing, sneezing, and touching the face.
  • All staff that are suffering from even mild symptoms (fever and/or new, persistent cough) are asked to self-isolate according to latest Government advice.

Denso Australia remains committed to a ‘business as usual' approach and will continue to monitor the situation, providing you with updates as and when appropriate.
