The Port of Bundaberg provides a vital link to the region’s industry, having been operated by Gladstone Ports Corporation (GPC) since 2009. GPC elected to repair and protect three sections of the Port’s infrastructure totalling 46 piles ranging from 475mm to 600mm OD.
Denso’s SeaShield Series 2000FD™ was selected by the successful applicator, Duratec, as the preferred corrosion prevention system due to the system’s ease of application, quality, performance and reliability for the long-term protection of marine piles.
Our technical representative provided complimentary training to the application team prior to mobilisation at the site and remained in contact with the project manager to provide support during the installation period.
The end result was excellent for GPC with Duratec ensuring a high-quality installation that will protect the assets for the foreseeable future.
