Eden Wood Chip Mill Wharf required pile rehabilitation works to be carried out on a combination of 914mm, 610mm DIA steel piles and 273mm DIA bracing sections, totalling 275lms.
In conjunction with newly installed sacrificial anodes, the heavy duty Denso SeaShield 2000FD™ pile protection system and Denso Epoxy HS Grout were chosen to provide the required long term corrosion protection. Pile surface preparation and application of the Denso materials was conducted from both work vessels and purpose built work platforms. The project was successfully completed by Professional Diving Services, based in Melbourne, Victoria.
