Project Details
The Hunter River Arm is located at Mayfield and is 1 kilometre in length, the customer on this project required earth side protection to the sheet pile. The Denso System chosen for this protection was the Steelcoat 100™ System, this also included the application of Denso Elastomeric Urethane.
After cleaning and preparation of the sheet piles, Denso™ Hi Tack Primer was applied, followed by Denso™ Hi Tack Tape. Once the application of Denso Hi Tack Primer and tape had been completed the Denso Elastomeric Urethane was applied by Plural component airless spray pump.
Once the complete Denso system had been applied the sheet pile was then protected with PVC sheeting and back filled to provide a solid earth backing.
